Amit Dhingra is the new commercial digital product manager at Sr Huntington National Bank. Previously, he served as executive vice president and head of commercial lending and retail payments at Huntington. He also held executive positions at McKinsey & Company and U.S. Bancorp. He will report to Paul Heller, the bank’s chief technology and operations officer.
In order to enhance the digital experience for customers, Huntington Bancshares has reorganized its digital payments products. In the new structure, Amit Dhingra will be in charge of defining the company’s payments strategy and coordinating its investments. He’ll focus on improving the customer experience and developing new products and services to meet the needs of customers.
Duties of a commercial digital product manager
The Senior Digital Product Manager is responsible for managing complex digital product lifecycles, including product vision, pricing, go-to-market plans, and messaging. The job focuses on online and mobile banking. This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of product management experience. Prior experience in the financial industry is preferred. This role also requires excellent communication and presentation skills.
